Join us at The Barn for a springtime Plant and Sip Workshop under the garden pavilion for beginners and garden enthusiasts learning to plant succulents. 
Date & Time: Saturday, May 11th at 4 pm


Description:
Join us for a relaxing afternoon/evening of learning how to properly plant succulents while sipping on a lovely glass of Locke Wine. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a novice, this event is for you. Under the charming ambiance of the pavilion, you'll learn how to pot and care for your own plant with friends and fellow plant enthusiasts. 


Activities:
1. Planting Session: Local Biologist Justice Rassmussen will guide you through the process of potting your chosen plant. From selecting the right soil to understanding watering needs, you'll learn everything you need to know to help your green friend thrive.

2. Sip & Socialize: As you work on your plant, enjoy a glass of Locke Wine included in your registration. Light bites will be provided as well. 

3. Plant Care Tips:  Get insider tips and tricks for keeping your plant healthy and happy. Learn about sunlight requirements, watering schedules, and troubleshooting common issues.

4. Q&A Session: Have burning questions about your plant or gardening in general? Have them answered by our local biologist to provide answers and guidance.


Materials Provided:
- Plant of your choice (options may vary, depending on availability)
- (2) clear pots and soil
- Gardening tools
- Additional containers and succulents will be available for purchase if you’d like to make more succulent containers! 
- One Complimentary Glass of Locke Wine 


What to Bring:
- Personal Garden Gloves
- Apron (depending on how much planting you’d like to do!) 
- A friend or two!

- This event is suitable for adults of all gardening skill levels.
- Please dress comfortably and be prepared to get your hands dirty!
