Our Family + Crew
Proprietor + Vineyard Manager
Kevin moved to Murphys, CA for a career in Forestry in the early 1980's. Started Locke Vineyards in 1995 with his love of Calaveras terrior with his wife, Theresa. He can usually be found driving the tractor while managing both vineyards or building custom furniture with his brothers from local hand milled wood.
Reserve Zinfandel + Ponderosa
Director of Operations + Proprietor
Kirsten grew up following her dad around the vineyards in Calaveras County learning the passion & dedication it takes to make Locke wines. She loves being apart of the details start to finish and is usually the person answering the phone or pouring you wines in The Barn to enjoy.
Apsen + Rosé + Petite Sirah
Theresa helped start Locke Vineyards with her husband . Growing up on a dairy and orchard outside of Modesto, she was used to farm work. We can always count on her to fill in with evening harvest picks and holiday weekends + club events. She spends most of her time operating her Physical Therapy clinic in Angels Camp, CA.
Viognier + Zinfandel
Caitlin currently lives in Austin, TX and assists Kirsten behind the scenes with operations & budgets. She visits often through the year and it is common to meet her during harvest or wine club events.

What Locke Lovers are Saying.....
Kirsten and her family vineyard is everything that a small town winery should be. The wines are delicious, they are involved in their hometown history and they're rewriting what customer service should be. They exceed expectations with everything they touch. Love the Locke family.
Amazing vineyard! The wine is great (but my bias for red is Sequoia, it's a MUST try). They host a bunch of events like paint night, yoga, candle making, personalized bath salt, harvesting your own herbs and much more. Highly recommend a visit! Not to mention that they support local vendors with great merchandise. You can spend a few hours chillin with friends inside the barn or outside on the patio. You won't regret the visit 🍷
Great wine and amazing family! Their Rose is beyond amazing, too.
Great wines, beautiful location and warm knowledgeable people
I love stopping at the barn to relax with a glass of wine on the patio. Always grab a fresh flower or dried lavender bouquet while picking up my favorite wines too!
